Hey my names Jess and I'm 15 in December. I use a nikon D3100 for all my filming/photography and Windows Movie Maker for my editing ; Can you's give me some tips on how to become famous (eventually/hopefully) on Youtube like Jc Caylen, Kian Lawley, Griffin Arnlund, etc. My bedroom has already been decorated so that's out the question… Also how do I download Free Royalty Music to my laptop? I use a HP something. I'm already good with Thumbnails too. Should I buy lighting and a microphone for my camera as well? Every detail helps! Thanks!

Hello… I have recently purchased my beginners dslr nikon d3300… But the problem I am facing is its lens cleaning… I got the fingerprints over it on the first day I purchased it and cleaned it with a simple cotton cloth:( now I have got to know that this was the lens can damage… And I am scared as hell:( please tell me is it okay If you clean it with simple cloth (cotton) ? My nikon d3100 has trouble focusing?

i've had my camera for almost 11 months now and its still in great condition. I have no lenes for it but i am in the process of saving up a light for the camera (what jc caylen uses for his youtube videos), do you know what light you'd get for my type of camera? Anyways. A couple days ago i wanted to film for youtube channel so i got my camera ready, one problem - it won't focus on me unless i'm really close to the camera - it's super annoying because when i move a little further away (say 10cm away because i sit on my bed whilst filming) it always goes out of focus. I have fairy lights in the background and a canvas of a beach but they shouldn't be the problem. How can i get my camera to focus on me when i'm not super close to the camera. ALSO please break down things for me because i'm not smart and i'm not good with farrenheight's or AFM's etc. Thanks! No stupid answers btw…

Fuji for Landscape and Long Exposure?

I am considering swapping my Kit for Landscape and LE in order to prevent lugging around a heavy Nikon system.
I love Fuji's (X100S and X-Pro1) for general convenience and travel shooting.
I am wondering what I will lose in quality if I use Fuji for Landscape and LE (especially seascapes)?
I am tempted by the Fuji XT1 and their increasing range of lens. I currently use Lee filters and will continue to do so if I adopt Fuji.
My absolute priority is Image Quality. If there is appreciable loss I would prefer to put up with carrying the extra weight.
Once again, friends, I value your thoughts regarding pros and cons.

How would you rate the super wide Nikon 14-24mm?
I have never seen or used one but am aware of some pros and cons. No VR, heavy and bulky and expensive specialist filter adapter.
However, does the super wide angle and Image Quality make it worthwhile investment for Nikon 700 and D810 owners who shoot landscape?
I value your thoughts and experience.

Lens Nikon D3100 doesn't twist all the way back?

So, I have a Nikon D3100, I have had the lens for a while now (standard one) and it's supposed to go from 55 to 18, but somehow I can only twist it to 35 and not any further back
Does anyone have any clue how to fix this? Is there like a screw or anything?

Is there something like a screen you can plug into the side of your nikon so you can see yourself recording? If that makes sense.
