Live View Switch Not Working On Camera?

I have a Nikon D5100 and just recently my Live View Switch hasn't been working properly. Whenever I move the switch, it changed the mode on the mode dial. Also, the switch doesn't seem to spring back as quickly as before. I feels jammed. Any ways to fix this? Thanks.

Light, sturdy tripod for Nikon?

Hiya, I'm not yet a professional photographer but am hoping to provide quality images to go with my travel writing. I own a Nikon D3100, some other basic equipment like a polarizer and ND filter. I have a sturdy tripod that is very heavy as I found out last weekend climbing Snowdon with it! I was wondering what are the best, lightest but still sturdy tripods out there for shooting landscapes?
Thanks:)

Decent non-expensive camera for cinematic filming?

I need a camera that 'at least' will work just as well as the Canon 70d. Just a camera for pointing and shooting. My price range is at least under 800 or 700. I tend to do a lot of fast movement and under extreme desert sunlight and cloudy weather. Sometimes maybe at night.

I know I'm gonna be suggested a dslr from canon/nikon/sony etc. And believe I know how well they work but I need a camera right that'll work just as well as them.

Nikon D7100 focusing issue?

I recently upgraded from a D3100 to a D7100; however, I'm finding the D3100 better and am very very disappointed with my D7100.

Here's the problem. I'm an automotive photographer and the D7100 rarely focuses on what I want it to. When shooting cars the car is out of focus or focuses on the people inside. It's extremely annoying.

I shoot AF-C with a 50mm 1.8 / 35mm 1.8 - the camera is new and so are the lenses so it is in perfect condition.

Could someone please advise - thanks

Why am I unable to take sharp photos with my 18-55mm lens?

It's my first DSLR camera (Nikon D5300), and the 18-55mm lens. I am still taking pictures in auto, but I feel that my pictures are not as sharp as the pictures I see of my friends with other lenses.

Can I get a lens adapter kit for my Nikon L830? Macro shots?

I know they sell them, but I have read multiple things about it and some people are saying that you can't attach lens to it even with an adapter… So then my question is what would be the best camera to use for macro shots? The L830 has a 34 point optical zoom and Im looking for more than that for less that $400. Does it exist?

Macro photography options?

I am new to the SLR segment. Just bought Nikon D5300. I have two lenses- Nikkor 18-55 kit (VR) and Tamron 16-300.

I'm looking for macro options. I want to take 3:1 macro shots. Now, clearly, I'm out of budget already. So, I can't buy a dedicated macro lens. I need a cheap alternative. I've been considering the following options:

** Raynox DCR 250 snap on
** Kenko extension tubes set
** Bellows
** Reverse mounting of my existing zoom lens
** Double mount

Now, I don't know the exact capabilities and limitations of these. I'm gathering information over internet only. So, it'd be very helpful if you help me choose. Also any other option is welcome too.
