Best photography camera for beginners?
Im looking for something under $500
Here are the things I plan to take pictures of:
Nature
Scenery
Concerts
People
Animals
The sky
Just very basic things but I want it to be very high quality. I want to be able to play around and make things artsy like blur the background and stuff. I just want really high quality pictures. It would be cool to be able to see starts in the pictures as well like the night sky with the moon.
I plan to use it for a hobby, nothing professional or anything. Thanks!
Added (1). * Ive taken a photography class so I'm a little educated on how to make cameras work and take good photos, Im just trying to make sure I get the best camera for my price range. Something like a Nikon/Canon/Sony. Just an upgrade from a standard digital camera

Canon t5 video face focus?
I am a vlogger, i used to use a nikon l820. I upgraded and have a t5, when I put it on face detection in video it puts a box around my face and is ready for me to half press the shutter to focus. My question is, if it can already find my face can't it focus by itself so I don't have to keep holding the shutter? And if not what canon slrs can do this function? I know the 70d can, but what else?

Sold my D5100, left with 35 MM 1.8G lens. What body to buy?
Sold my D5100, left with 35 MM 1.8G lens. What body to buy? - 1
Added (1). Requirements
1.Portraits
2.Landscape
3.Low-light
I dont need large buffers and high shutter speed.
As I have only 1 lens I can switch to a Canon too.
Added (2). Thank you FotoAce.
How about D7000 which is about 40% less costly than D7100? Does the performance difference do justice to the cost difference. I understand, with D7000, I will get the same sensor in a different body.
Added (3). Same sensor as in D5100*
Added (4). BriaR
I need a body with motor.(I have a 50mm 1.8D which I hardly could use on D5100)
I need weather sealing.
I need to shoot in low light
These are the reason I am upgrading the body.
Another reason I believe this is right time to get a decent resale value for D5100.
As for buying Nikon, I learned when I started off shooting that Nikon makes better glasses than Canon.

Macro photography with a Nikon dx body?
Ok so macro photography is something very new to me, but has always seemed very fascinating and fun.
To start off I have a Nikon D5000 so I can't even really consider any AF-D lenses if I want to still have auto-focus. I've been looking into things such as the 85mm f/3.5 DX and the 60mm f/2.8 FX. To be completely honest, I don't know if either of these would do the trick for macro photography or even how good/bad of an idea it would be to use a full frame lense on a dx camera.
Any kind of advice on what I should be looking for with this sort of thing would be awesome as well as knowing possible third party lenses that would do the trick for this like Sigma or Tokina.
If possible, I'd like to stay in the price range of $600 or less.
Thanks anyone and everyone for the help.

Improving my photography (pics)?
I love taking photos of my daughter and I'd like to improve.
I'm using a Nikon D3100 and the basic kit lens.
I've taught myself how to shoot in manual (thank you youtube). Now I've just started using photoshop. Just for basic brightening and some sharpening.
What would be the next step to improve would you say?
I was thinking maybe I should start with getting another lens. Any recommendations?
Here are some photo's I've taken. Please offer some constructive criticism but don't be to harsh as I'm just a beginner to the DSLR world:)

Nikon aw1 or sony nex 5n? (with waterproof case)?
I was looking for a good mirror less camera. And i came across the Nikon aw1.
I liked it because it was waterproof and had interchangeable lenses. It was perfect for me because I'm not really careful with electronics, or anything:/ then i found the Sony nex 5 and a waterproof case for it. Now I'm having trouble deciding of which camera to buy.
What do you guys think?
