What camera should I choose for photographing my artwork?
I have a budget of around $500.00 and have my eyes on Canon - EOS Rebel SL1 DSLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Zoom Lens, but the sales person insist I should go for the Sony - Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Camera with 16-50mm. This one cost 150 extra.
I only want the camera to photograph my artwork on canvas and promote myself on the web and Galleries.

Canon model good low light performance camera?
I've been using the 600D for almost a year and a half now.Everything is fine with the camera except the grains i get on high iso levels so I am thinking about buying a new body. Can anyone suggest me a good canon model with good low light performance within 70-80 k?I've become attached to canon and own quite a few lenses so I would like not to move over to Nikon.

Taking Milky Way photos with Nikon D3300 with kit lens?
I have a Nikon D3300 and I want to attempt taking pictures of the Milky Way using the kit lens since that's all I have right now. What settings should I set the camera at (ISO, aperture, shutter speed, etc.)? Thanks!

Upgrading from really old DSLR Camera to a Mirrorless, but need advice?
So I guess I am what you would call an amateur photographer. I've had a Canon Rebel XTI DLSR for years now w/ the kit lense it came with. But I am thinking its about time for an upgrade to a newer camera.
I want to be able to be more advanced level than a regular point and shoot, but also can take video which could be used to create vlogs, and be small enough for travel. I want something to use for underwater photos so was considering looking into waterproof housing. Hoping to keep the budget under/around $800 lens included.
I came across the Sony A6000 and it looks promising. The negative reviews on the kit lenses are disheartening but it could be wonderful for me. The camera is decent priced that I feel like I could buy a Neewer/Meikon underwater housing (because I don't have the money for a Nauticam).it scares me about the possibility of it leaking and ruining my camera, though I have seen good reviews.
also interested in Nikon 1 AW1 due to the fact that the camera is already suitable for underwater, But I've read a number of reviews that claimed leakage and it ruining the camera, which makes me nervous.
I wonder if I'd be better off getting the A6000 or a cheaper mirrorless and buying a cheaper actioncam with underwater housing for any water photos on the side, like the Xiaomi Yi, though I feel like I'd be sacrificing quality of underwater photos. Even though I know the Gopro is good, it would probably put me over my desired budget if I got it alongside a Mirrorless.

NIKON D5200 autofocus?
Okay so I have the Nikon D5200 which I use to record video. But when I use the AF-F setting the camera continues to "search" so a new focus causing my video to keep going in and out of focus every few seconds and making a loud lense noise which ruins the video. Is there a way I can have it autofocus but not as often? And a way to fix the loud sound? Would getting an external mic help?
Thank you!
