How to fix a SD memory card?

i just go a nikon D 3400 brand new camera and a sandisk ultra 32 gb brand new as well. I get the card may be damaged insert new card error when i turn on the camera. I tried to pull up the memory card on my laptop and it doesn't come up. What can i do to fix this? Please help

Hi, I am buying a nikon d40 and want to know if the lens I currently have will fit it. It is a tokina AT-X 270af PRO II. I currently have it on a nikon d1, and it says that it's made for nikons but since it's older I didn't know if the mounting had changed? Thanks!

Camera for photography?

Hi everyone, I was looking to buy a camera to start doing for photography. Obviously I'm just a beginner, but hopefully I could get good enough to start doing weddings or something. I don't want to go too fancy, but I was looking at a Nikon D3400 DSLR Camera 24.2MP. Can anyone tell me if this would be a good start.

Canon 1300D (T6) or 750D (T60i) ? I have the lens from my old nikon (70-200mm usm ii f/2,8 L) which one suits my lens better

Nikon camera D5300 kit lens making a noise while taking pictures? And it's not the auto focusing noise

I have the 18-55 kit lens… I tired taking 2 or 3 second long exposure pictures and the lens make a noise. I turned if VR to if it was that but no. Then I turn the auto focusing off still the noise is there. I took the lens off then just use the camera to pressing the shutter button. No noise so it is the lens.

Why would it make noise even when at manual focus. When ever I read the shutter button this noise start from the lens?

Could it be lens motors gone bad?

What are some examples of a decent middle-ground camera?

I'm interested in photography, but all I have right now is an iPhone 6. It's alright, but I find myself wanting better quality photos and more depth-of-field capability. However, I can't afford a $2000 Nikon or Canon camera right now.

What is a good middle-ground type of camera that will produce higher-density pixel photos and a decent amount of blur? Something around the $500 range?
