I'm looking for a video camera but I don't know what they're called, help?

I'm looking for a good quality camera possibly a Nikon cause those are typically better than Sony. I want a portable camera for vlogging & sometimes it's really dark out so i need a camera that carries with it a built-in portable low & high light (but not blinding) so that when I do vlog in the dark or at night people can see whats going on in the picture.

Is there anything like that? I don't know what these kinds of cameras are called, it'd be great to have one.

Is it zoom recommended/good on Digital Photography?

I just bought a Nikon D3100 and I have been practicing photography because I like it, I have been taking photos on manual too to practice the aperture, shutter speed and and the ISO, and I tend to use zoom a lot because I think the object/person sees more focused because of the blurry backgound.

Is it recommended to use zoom or to get closer to the person/object I'm shooting?

P.S. I have a 18-55mm lens.

Low budget DSLR. Help.?

I'm an 18 year old girl who has a love for photography. This would be my first DSLR, but I have basic knowledge about ISO and whatnot. I would be using it for landscapes, concerts, and candid shots with friends. (anything that can apture good night shots is a BIG plus)

My budget is very limited. I was looking at the Nikon d3100, but I was considering the d5100 if the extra $150 is really worth it. I was also considering the Canon t3 or t3i, but it seems the Nikons outshine the Canons.

Advice anyone? Or suggestions for other cameras that I didn't mention?

Which Speedlight is best?

I am looking to upgrade my Nikon Speedlight to something with a faster recovery time and just something newer in general. I have been doing research on both the Nikon SB-800 and SB-900/910 and read great reviews on each one! Is it worth spending the extra money on the 900/10 if the 800 is so comparable? I understand that the 900's have more features, but I am unsure if they are really all needed? This flash will be used mostly in wedding photography. Any help would be great. Thanks!

How to change the speedlight setting for my d7000?

I am using sb700 n nikon d7000, i always use the speedlight in command mode, which means i didn't attach the speedlight on my camera, my problem is, when i use this command mode, i have to switch on the built in flash on my camera first, what should i do so that i can use the speedlight witout attaching it to my d7000 body n without popping out the built in flash in my d7000?

Any idea which dslr i should upgrade to?

So i have owned a canon 1000d for the past 2.5 years but lately it just randomly shuts off and for some reason its starting to take a good 5 mins to buffer a picture so im upgrading with a 600 euro budget i was decided on the 600d but then i seen the d5100 i am looking at the reviews of both and the only difference is a higher iso and shutter speed on the nikon but now im stuck i like the 2 cameras but i just cant decide do you guys know which one i should pick or even recommend a different dslr please help

How to use the Nikon 50mm f/1.8 D lens?

Just purchased a dslr and received a Nikon 50mm f/1.8 D lens as a gift.So I'm pretty new with the lens. Just wanna know does the f-stop works only on f22? I tried the others which goes to f1.8 but it wouldn't lock and I couldn't take pictures.So how do you use the other f-stops?
