How long does it take for a Nikon 1 battery to completely charge the first time?

I just got the Nikon 1 and I'm just wondering how long the battery needs to charge to fill for the first time.

Is it possible for me to set up my camera as my laptops webcam?

I have a Mac OS X snow leopard and a Nikon 1. I want to connect my Nikon 1 to my Mac, and use it as though it is a webcam, and film, so i can see what is being filmed on my mac screen, as it would be on the screen on the nikon, if u get what i mean. I want it so i can film tutorials for youtube and look at what im filming through my laptop.
Is it possible to do this? if so how? do i need any sort of software or something.

Any advice on a lens for Nikon D3100 18-55 VR Kit?

I'm looking to take photos of landscapes throughout Europe. This is for fun. I'm completely new at this. I am thinking of getting a full-frame fisheye lens. What kind of material is this plastic?

This camera has a different front plastic material than the usual rub over it and leave a finger print on it plastic. Heres the camera, I dont knw if you can see it from the picture

But basically this kind of plastic feels smooth kind of like vinyl … and it also doesn't reflect anything… I dont knw what kind of plastic this is!!!
Added (1). It gives it a kind of an opaque and dull look.

I need some advice on what software I should buy for editing digital photographs?

I am not a professional; I have a Nikon D800 and shoot Raw. I don't shoot hundreds of pictures at a time. Cost is not particularly an issue, but dont want to waste money either. Thanks

Should get rid of my Nikon 18-55mm lens?

I have a Nikon D-3100. I was planning on getting a 55-200mm A-FS but I need a bit of more cash to get it, I could trade in my 18-55mm that comes with the camera so I can afford it. Should I go ahead and do that, or should I wait a bit more until I get more money?

What should I charge for a photo shoot?

I am not a professional, but I recently took portraits for my family (aunt, uncle, and cousins) and I really enjoyed it AND the pictures came out well.My parents suggested I offer to do so for friends and other relatives, but we have no idea how much to charge. I use a Nikon D5100 and am very passionate about photography. Please help! Thanks

D3000 SD card says its full but i deleted all photos!

Hi i have a nikon D3000 and i took out my SD card and inserted it into my Mac.after i saved all the photos to my Mac i deleted them.when i put the SD card back into my camera it said CARD IS FULL. when i tried to go back to view the photos on my camera it says FOLDER CONTAINS NO IMAGINES.so whats going on? how can i fix it? can i even fix it? thank you

Why won't my Nikon D5000 take pictures?

A few weeks ago, my camera started to seize up occasionally -- it would focus and expose, but no picture was written to my SD card. This lasted for a few minutes, during which time I would turn the camera off, remove the battery, the lens, the SD card, and do any other random thing I could think of to fix it, but the camera always seemed to right itself. Yesterday though, the camera just stopped taking pictures entirely.It functions normally in everything except that the LCD screen won't show me what's visible through the viewfinder, though it still works to review pictures I've already taken and display camera settings. I've tried resetting the camera and replacing the SD card, but it still doesn't work. I have a photo assignment due for school which I've got to start work on, and I'd be crazy grateful to anyone who could give me any advice or input on what the heck is going on with my poor little camera.
