Buying my first super 8 camera?

Buying my first super 8 camera… Option #1 is a Elmo 600SD in excellent working order with a 8.5-50mm lens. It comes with a case and a crap load of accessories (2 mics, light, all manuals, ear piece, cables, etc.) for $35.00 plus $22.45 shipping. #2 is a Nikon Super zoom 8 with the 7.5-60mm lens with case and instructions for $45.00 free shipping and the statement "minimal testing done, as is". Option #3 is a Canon 814 w/ a 7.5-60mm lens camera only, working $59.99 + $20.99 shipping. Option #4 is a Canon 514XL with film and accessories and case, again the 7.5-70mm lens working, good condition in auction starting at $9.99 (but could go way up the last day) and $29.99 shipping. Option #5 is another Nikon like the first on I mentioned, says working auction for $25.00 (again, could or will go way up by end) and $20.00 shipping. I like the idea of having the versitility of the 60 or 70mm lens, but the Elmo looks like the best deal here. What do you think?

What size adapter for Nikon L340?

Does 105mm Macro lens take much better pictures than a 40mm Macro lens?

I am sorry for the silly question, is that I am a very beginner in photography, and after purchasing a Nikon D5300 last July, I have been practising taking macro pictures with a 40mm Micro Lens, and sometimes use reversed kit lens to take super-macro photos…
I like the lens I have, but I was looking at the prices of that 105mm macro lens, and wondering if I could make better macro photos with that… Is it worth? The price is spicy… It has to be worth lol…

How to fix a camera lens with water in it?

I have recently, way too recently, bought a digital camera (Nikon S7000) and got water into the lens.

I don t mean dropped the camera into water, but when I went outside in the snow to take photos yesterday I slipped and a bit of snow went on the lens.

I have wiped this off with a lens wipe and the outer lens looks clean, with no smudges, but when I try to take photos they are blurry.

Could the water/snow have gotten into another layer of lens or something?
And how can I fix it? Does it need to be sent a pro or do I need a replacement?

As you can tell I am not at all a camera expert, I know nothing about cameras, so any help is appreciated.

Nikon 70-200 f2.8 VR vs Tamron 70-200 f2.8 VC?

I can't seem to decide between the Nikon 70-200 f2.8 VR (first version, not the newer VR II one) or the Tamron 70-200 VC (newer version, not the older macro one).

I understand that the older Nikon 70-200 f2.8 vr has terrible corners on FX, but that is not a bother to me, as corners don't matter to me in my field of work.

They are both weathersealed but the Nikon has the focus ring in front of the zoom ring, which I prefer. The Nikon one is also a $1490, while the Tamron is $1390, both quite close.

Yes, I am aware of the 80-200, but I feel there is a need for stabilization, especially at the 200mm end. The 70-200 f4 is too slow for my needs.

Quite torn on which one to get!
