I am just getting into flash photography using my Nikon SB600 and Nikon D7000.As of right now I'm using my on camera flash to trigger the SB600 in slave mode so I can get some directional lighting. The only problem is that my controls for the flash go away when I have it in slave mode. I would really like to turn the power down to 1/64 on the flash while my camera acts as a commander. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this without the use of expensive Pocketwizards? Thanks!
