Red dot vs Scope for Deer for shotgun?

I'm looking at a couple of scopes and I cannot really decide what would be best. I'm between a Nikon 2-7 power, a leupold 2-7x and a bushnell 2 power red dot. I'll be putting it on a mossberg 500 for deer hunting. I am mainly in woods, taking few shots over 100 yards. Here are the choices http://www.opticsplanet.com/bushnell-2x-mp-tactical-illuminated-red-dot-sight.html http://www.opticsplanet.com/leupold-vx-i-2-7x33mm-shotgun-rifle-scope.html or http://www.opticsplanet.com/nikon-riflescope-prostaff-2-7x32.html I am aware the red dot says for AR, but the info includes shotguns also. Don't give me that "It's your preference" because I will not try all of them, it's one or the other so voice your opinion, Thanks!
