I think something is up with my new glasses but doctors say different?
I just got new glasses I purchased through Walmart's Vision Center. My eye exam was done through The Vision Center. I would have bought my glasses through the Vision Center but damn, they wanted anywhere from $250 on up for just the frames. I have Fidelis so as you could have guessed the Medicaid approved glasses weren't good. Well, I just got them and I wore them for about an hour and something isn't right in the right lens. Their a new type of lens. Usually I just get polycarbonate but this time I sprung for a Nikon single vision and it has all this extra stuff in it. So, I'm not sure if that's the issue but it seems like on the right half of the right lens something is wrong. My vision is fuzzy and I have to really stare at something before it comes into clear focus. I went back to the doctor and they said the prescription matched and they won't do a recheck until I wear them for a week to get used to them. But after an hour I got a headache and my eyes were sore from feeling strained in the new glasses. My mom has experience with glasses and she said there may be something wrong with the lens like a swirl or drip dye but she isn't sure. Does this sound like any of that?
Added (1). The left eye is great. There is no problem whatsoever. It's just frustrating because I'm not an idiot. I am well aware new prescriptions take time getting used to and that's what these doctors keep saying just if there's blurriness in a section i don't think that's something i can get used to. I also have an astigmatism in the right eye and they said it weakened since the last exam
