Which lens would be better for astrophotography on my Nikon D7200 (DX)?

Hi,
I ve been looking online for a while trying to decide which lens to get and I ve narrowed it down to two. The Rokinon 16mm f/2.0 ED AS UMC CS Lens for Nikon F Mount which is designed for an APS-C sensor (DX) and the Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 ED AS UMC Wide-Angle Lens for Nikon which is designed for a full frame sensor (FX). I just want to know which one would take better photos. I am aiming for landscape shots with a starfield or the Milky Way in the background and maybe a few time-lapse videos as well.
Any help with this would be great, if you ve had experience with both these lenses on a DX camera what was it like. If you could post pictures or links to photos that you ve taken with either of these lenses on a DX camera that will be cool.

Thanks for your help,
Ronan
