Nikon D5100 autofocus?

I just wanted to know how can I autofocus while recording a video on my Nikon D5100. I've got 3 lenses

18-55mm, 60mm af-s micro 2.8 ED and 55-300mm

Can I Use a Canon EF Lens to a Nikon F Mount?

I am going to purchase a Canon Telephoto Lens that uses the EF Mount.

My friend is willing to pay half if i let her borrow it; however, she has a Nikon D3000.
Will she be able to use this EF Lens on her F mount Camera.

Please be descriptive in explaining if these mounts can or cannot hold the same type of lenses.

What video settings should I use to record ink droplets in water?

I am trying to film the movement of ink droplets in water as well as swirling colors dropped into milk and distored with dish soap. I am using a Nikon D5100. I am new to using my DSLR so i'm not exactly sure how I can get my camera to stay focused on the swirling ink. I had my settings as 'subject tracking AF' for AF-area mode and the focus mode on full-time-servo AF.it had a hard time focusing on the swirling ink as it changed directions.it would keep refocusing but it took a while for it to finally focus (thats if it even could) and i really don't want these blurry transitions in my video.

Can anyone please suggest how I can record this movement with a proper focus?

Which has better Bokeh? 50mm or 35mm 1.8 nikon lens? - 1

Both lens i found are 200 bucks on sale

i am worried that 50mm would have a tight field of view

im considering the 35mm too but not sure which one to go for.

I saw both at the store and the 50mm looks more up to date in terms of build and design but obviously it comes down to the photo.

my main reason for a prime lens is to shoot with blurred backgrounds, especially of friends and family during parties.

ive read mixed reviews online, howver it seemed the 35mm seems more " popular" but canon doesnt even have a 35mm prime.

what do you guys think?

Multiple exposure help?

Ok so i tried to do a multipl e exposure with my Nikon N55 and the whole roll ended up be rewound without even being completely used up.i held the correct button and went to click the shutter and that when it started to rewind the film instead of taking the photo.did i miss something here?

Why isn't my Nikon D300 actually taking a picture?

Hi! So i recently got a Nikon D300.So this morning, i went to take a picture and it wont take it! It focuses and all, but it wont actually take the picture.My memory isn't full, I'm on P mode. I dont know what is wrong with it? The reason I'm asking is because I don't know what to look for in the manual. I'm new to photography and complex cameras. I got this from my fathers friend. Please help me?

I just got a new camera (Nikon D3100), I want to shoot two of my best friends. The problem is that I don't have many ideas for a photo shoot theme. I'm not looking for erotic photos, just normal fun ones.

Water Proof Camera Help?

I have a water proof camera a S30 Nikon and theres a glass that covers the lens so water wont get in the lens but that shattered and now its not water proof some one please help me???

Multiple Exposure film?

Alright, so i have a Nikon N55 35mm camera that i've been playing with. I was just reading about the N55 doing multiple exposures? The sites were issues of the camera doing so but i love multiple exposure photography. If anyone has tips on how to do that purposely with the N55 it would be very much appreciated!
Added (1). I dont have the owners manual
