Nikon D3100 viewfinder issue, I think?

When I look through the viewfinder of my d3100 there is a very faint circle which is slightly of centre with the middle focus point, is it supposed to be there? Thanks

How to change my images on my nikon DX from raw to jpeg?

I need to upload these pictures on my schools computers but they aren't showing up in my files since the pictures are RAW. I need to chnage them back to jpeg. Please help!!!

First lens purchase for Nikon D5100?

I am new to photography, and I was wondering what lens I should purchase first, considering that I already have the kit 18-55mm.

I want a relatively high quality, versatile lens that can be used in a variety of situations including travel photography. Preferably, I would like something with a longer focal length than my 18-55mm. I see myself mostly shooting landscape, wildlife, etc.does not have to be Nikkor, and I am willing to look at sigma, tamron, etc.

Price range is $250 or less (will definitely consider used lenses also).

Where can I get a cheap Laptop?

Okay..so. I know Christmas JUST came and I should've asked for a laptop, but I already got some pretty awesome (and expensive) things, so asking for a Laptop would be a little… spoil-ish.So, I decided, that im going to save money for a Laptop.

WHY: This laptop IS NOT going to be for a All-Purpose use. I just need it to use my HD-PVR (High Definition Personal Video Recorder) and to put all my Camera pictures on. Because I just got a Nikon for christmas. I would use my desktop, but unfortunately, the wires that connect the PVR to the computer are too short, and my computer is on the other side of the room.sooo yeah. I want a laptop because its portable. And it would be of great use to me.

But, I'm under 18 ( i dont feel like giving out my age lol ) and i have been saving money. And i decided to spend it towards a laptop. But i only have about $350.So I need something that is sorta cheap. And will stay cheap. Because I dont plan on buying it for a while. I know $350 isnt going to buy me a good laptop. But like i said, I dont plan on buying for a while so Im going to save up a little more. I cant buy anything over $600. That'll take too long.

NIKON D700 - MULTIPLE EXPOSURE?

I am trying to use the multiple exposure setting on my Nikon D700 but when i go on menu and try to select it, the screen says 'cannot select in current shooting mode' ive tried every mode but still no luck. Can someone explain to me how this works please

Are their adapters for nikon lens to sony dslr cameras?

I recently purchased a Sony a57 dslr camera and I want to buy new lenses. The lens that I was looking at was a 55-200mm lens but they discontinued that certain lens for Sony. I looked around and found that Nikon has a lot more to offer in the lens department and they had the certain lens that I was looking for.So my question is if there is an adapter that allows Nikon to merge with Sony cameras?
