What are the identifying markings of nikon eyeglass lenses?

I purchased what i was told to be nikon seemax progressive eyeglass lenses with see coat max coating for 940$ (lenses only). however the store didnot indicate on my receipt what exactly i paid for and when i asked for the certificate of authenticity from nikon i was told that people normally donot ask for this and so that they threw this document away.i am not particularly happy with these lenses - they are rather thick, yellowish and smudge (dirty) very easily.i am looking for some halmark on the thenses that can pove they are the latest product available by nikon and i dont know what to look for.

Optical zoom lowers quality? DSLR?

I have a Nikon D3100 and I was wondering, if I take a shot of something, but I zoom in with my 18-55mm lens, do I lose quality, since what I'm doing is sort of a crop?

I have looked at leapold and nikon but I want to pay for the scope not the brand, I've handled all these scopes in person I just want to know what these scope i posted can handle

Nikon D3100 will take pictures, but they show up as black?

My Nikon D3100 will turn on and shows color, like if I'm taking a picture of a bed, I can see the bed through the camera. Last night, I unattached the lens from the body to compare weight with another friend's lens, and ever since then, my pictures turn up as pitch black on the viewing button. I take a picture like normal, but it shows up as black. Please no camera lingo, I ave no idea what anything is.

I just have the 18-55mm kit lens

Wide angle filter stucked on my lens?

Hey there.Um I have a nikkor 18-55mm lens. And I had a wideangle filter. When I put the filter on, it won't come off anymore. I tried so hard to take it off but it won't. Help me. Photographers out there? Please?

How to change my pictures from a NEF file to JPG?

I have a Nikon d3100 which I have taken thousands of pictures with. I recently created a flickr account and am having almost no problems click and dragging photos from my library to upload on flickr's website except for about 15-20 pictures which keep saying "this does not look like a valid photo" and will not upload. I have compared the properties of photos that will not upload to ones that will and the only difference I can find is the photos that will not upload says the type of file is a NEF while the photos which will upload says the type of file is JPG. Also the size of the NEF pictures are over 10mb while the average size of a JPG is around 4mb. Please help for I am not too savvy when it comes to this type of problem and any help would be appreciated. Thanks again and I hope the solution is not too complicated.

How to change how photos are put onto my laptop?

When I plug in my mobile phone into my laptop it uses 'Nikon Transfer' to transfer the photos to my laptop because I had previously set that as the default for pictures, how do I change this?
