How to I get clear images with my nikon d5000?

So I'm in school for digital photography. Last week my teacher was talking about getting clear enough pictures that you could zoom in and see stuff as eyelashes but said he's not getting into that this class. When I zoom into my pictures close enough to the eyelash it just gets blurry. How do I make them that clear?

Would a nikon 1 j1 camera be allowed a concert venue?

I have tickets to go see lady gaga, do you think if they saw my nikon 1 j1 they'd refuse to let me in? if I take the pancake lens which looks super small they might think it's only digital, will they know? do you think they'd confiscate it?

Nikon d7000 shutter help.!

I have the d7000 with 50mmG and when i put it on slow shutter mode it only lets me change the shutter speed which makes the photo lighter/darker and wont let me change the aperture.i've also tried on manual mode too, but it only works if i put the iso up and then the photo is grainy and i don't like that.

i don't know if it's just me doing something wrong but i really want to get some slow shutter photos and i've read the manual book but still isn't working…

Which Nikon Camera Would Be The Best For These Types Of Settings?

For a photographer who deals with low-lighting concerts for most of their work, would you recommend the D90 or the D5100? Why?

I know what I'm doing with cameras. I know that getting the D90 would be better in the sense I can use AF and AF-S lenses but I'm not really worried about that. I just really need to know which one will be have the best shutter speed and will give me the right amount of lighting for a low-light setting. Right now I shoot my concerts with the 50mm 1.8 but I'll be getting the 1.4 to use with the new camera.

I sold a nikon camera and a point and shoot camera on ebay. I already printed out the labels and paid for it. Now if i go to USPS will they give me 2 flat rates box For free? SO I can put my labels in it.Im new to these ebay things.thanks

Is the Minolta Auto 200x a good flash unit for my Minolta XG-1?

I have a Minolta XG-1 film camera. I will be shooting a friend with it soon--just doing some modeling shots. We will be shooting in the shade during the day. I would like to get some more lighting, though. I doubt that there will be anything creative I can do with my Minolta Auto 200x stuck on my unit. I can't use it wirelessly or anything. I have a nikon sb-600. Will that work on my Minolta? What should I do? Just shoot her in the shade and don't worry about lighting?

Wedding photography tips?

I am taking pictures for my brothers wedding this Friday. He didn't give me anytime to prepare. I am not a professional. I do want to be a professional photographer though. I am nerves. Does anyone have any tips. I have a Nikon D3000 camera. I haven't seen the place they are getting married and I still don't know where it is until Friday. Any advice is welcomed.

Is the Nikon d7000 with the 18 105mm lens any good for shooting music videos?

As far as the Nikon vs Cannon debate w/ DSLR cameras under $1000, I've found favor in the Nikon videos that I have seen so far. I plan to shoot some music videos. I'm going to buy Vegas Pro 12 for video editing. Can anybody vouch for the Nikon d7000 with an 18 105mm lens for music videos? And is learning proficiency in Vegas Pro 12 very hard?
