Taking multiple photos with different lighting/effects on a Nikon D3100?
I'm in a photography class in high school, and I constantly see advanced photo students taking duplicate photos with different filters within the camera.
I use a Nikon D3100, and I understand the parts of the camera and use manual mode, but don't necessarily understand every single feature it holds.
I want to know if there is a way I can take two identical photos, black and white and color, at once, within the camera.
I searched through the features in my camera camera, and tried checking out my manual about this, but I just don't know how to properly word it, or where to find it.
Any advice?

Video noise even at low ISOs?
I am new to dslr film making.
I have the Nikon d7000, and the kit lens 18-105 mm.
Even when I film at iso 160, the video is VERY noisy.
There is noise on the whole image, particularly the shadows. I have no idea what is wrong, I have tried various different combinations of ISO/ shutter speed/ aperture and I get the same results.
I'm filming in 1080p, 24 frames per second.
I have included an example of video at ISO 320, aperture f 3.5 and shutter speed 50. This is around the least noisy footage I can get and there is noise in the shadows, particularly under the desk in the example. Please help, how do I over come this noise? Is it a case of in camera settings or merely just the light in the scene? I am also using an IR filter (HOYA HMC uv 67mm), but its hardly relevant.
Please help me over come this noise, and any good sources for introductions to dslr film making are greatly appreciated.

Nikon D3200 White balance?
So I'm a complete beginner with DSLR cameras and wanted to try time-lapse photography. I have a Nikon D3200 and wanted to try some simple time-lapse of clouds to start out. I know the auto focus should be off, and use manual mode. Im somewhat familiar with the manual settings (iso, shutter speed, ext) and the 24-30 fps for smooth time lapses.
My main question is how to turn off the auto white balance? If i set the camera to manual mode does that automatically lock the white balance? There doesn't seem to be an "off" setting for white balance it just lets you choose between different scene modes (clouds, incandescent, ext.)
Also any good tips for shooting cloud time-lapse or any other scenes?

i was just messing with camera setting (nikon s5200) and found these two options. First tell me what is the difference b/w them? And then tell me which should be used and when should be used!
and also tell me the meaning of these two option in video mode, will it autofocus during video shoot?
