Sony Vs Nikon, which is best for point and shoot cameras?

Hello! I have a liking for Nikon cameras and they have superb quality and are durable. However Sony digicams are offering lots of features which Nikon is not offering at the same price. So I thought it would be wise to buy Sony.

But how are Sony's reviews? I feel that it's not durable though it offers awesome features. Durability is very important for me.
Also Sony is offering Carl Zeiss Tessar lens while Nikon is offering only Nikkor lens whatever be the price range. It's pics are really nice. I'm confused!

Which brand should I buy Nikon or Sony?

Should I accept an invitation to shoot a small wedding?

Photography is a hobby for me. I own a Nikon D90 and shoot primarily with my Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm 1:1.4D lens. I have done a few shoots for friends, but nothing like a wedding. Weddings freak me out. I have no intention of pursuing that avenue of photography. However, a friend has asked me to shoot her daughter's wedding. It is small. A last minute get married before the baby gets here wedding. It is outdoors and only 30 people will be in attendance. I believe they are just looking for simple photographs and don't want to spend the money on a professional. I have been very honest and told her I have never done a wedding and that weddings freak me out. She seems to think I will be just fine for what they need and want. I am open to doing it since it is so small. Do I take it, having been completely honest with her? If so, what do I charge? I was thinking $250 just considering the amount of time will be spent both at the wedding and in editing.

Added (2). I will adjust my photography title from hobbyist to pro wanna be since I do desire to accept shoots that I want to do for a small amount of compensation.

Reverse lens using Nissin Di622 mark II? - 1

Reverse lens using Nissin Di622 Mark II? I use Nikon D5000. Just bought Nissin Di622 Mark II speedlight. Before, I used built in flash to shoot macro on reverse lens technique. I just need to set the built in flash to manual mode. Everything OK. But, when I used Di622, the camera detected that the the speedlight was in TTL mode even if I already set the Di622 to manual. When using reverse lens, if the speedlight in TTL mode, the camera unable to shoot. Anyone has experience with reverse lens technique using Nissin Di622 Mark II, please help. My camera is already in manual mode

Best type of camera for photojournalism?

Next year I'm headed off to college (yay!) and I will be majoring in Journalism. In the first semester we will require a Digital SLR camera and I was wondering which one would be best for photojournalism.
I've taken photography class at school before where I worked with Canons, Nikons and Pentax, and out of those I preferred Nikon. Although I'm open to all suggestions I prefer Nikons. Anyway if any of you's have ideas it would be awesome to hear from you, thanks!
P.s I am a senior in high school with a crappy part-time job, so if the camera could be like no more than 750$ that would be fab! Thanks again!

I'm a dude, a friend just a Nikon D7000 camera. I got to look sexy and fit. To help promote vegan fitness and look hot and stuff.
I heard lighting is very important (can you explain), and some one use amber lights whatever those are. Simply put what photography techniques can we used to look hot. What works? Thanks

So I've created a youtube channel and I have all the right things such as a Nikon D3100 and I know how to do Thumbnails. But I need suggestions on video ideas? I've been checking out Jc Caylen'd and Kian Lawley's videos but I'm a girl and majority of the things they do are guyish HAHA. But yeah i like to do tags, challenges, vlogs, etc. Thanks! Every detail Helps! I'm a 15 year old girl btw if that helps! (And don't say I'm too young or should be going out with friends rather than filming for Youtube because it's my hobbie and I love to do it)!
