I'm sure this is a question that has been asked many many times, but I didn't see my specific camera/lenses and wanted to get some opinions.
I have an old 35 mm Minolta Maxxum 5000i with 2 lenses
Sigma DL zoom 35-80mm
Sigma 70-300mm
I am still a camera novice but want to get a decent entry-level camera (Nikon?). I would like to know if these lenses would be compatible/be able to use them with a DSLR camera. Are there certain brands that are compatible and others that aren't? What options do I have if they aren't?
I understand that ideally I would like to get new lenses, but since I have these already, I would like to know their compatibility.
Also, if you have any recommendations for an entry level $500 - 600 camera, please let me know. My brain hurts from looking at all the options. If there's been a recent upgrade, and the older model is still a great option and maybe even a little cheaper, that would be great.
Thanks for any suggestions. Any help is appreciated.

Canon rebel t3 or t3i for a beginner?
I want to buy a DSLR camera but I don't know which one to get. I heard that Canon is better than Nikon so I narrowed it down to either the rebel t3 or the t3i. I'm mostly going to be taking pictures, not videos. Does one camera have better picture quality or are they pretty much the same? Is the t3i worth the extra money?

Where can I rent a camera?
Hello =)
I wanted either a Canon or Nikon DSL camera.
But I can't pay for it in full at the moment.
So I was wondering where i would be able to pay for one monthly.
I know about Rent-A-Center and Aaron's, but they don't really even have any cameras.
So I was wondering if a store or electronic store had rental deals or something like that.
Thanks =)
Added (1). Oh by the way, I live in Cleveland, Ohio. So anywhere near that area would be great also! :)

Nikon D80 battery won't charge?
I have a Nikon D80 with two batteries, recently both batteries are acting strangely, one battery won't hold a charge, I put it on the charger over night and this morning the charging light was green indicating that it was charged, so I put it in my camera and the camera said it wasn't charged. With the other the other battery, it can be fully charged and will randomly just die, even at a full charge. What should I do about this? I have ordered some new battery's hoping that's the problem, but they won't be in for a while and I need to be able to use the camera today if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Beginner choosing between two SLRs: Canon Rebel T3i and Nikon D3200?
Hi
I am a beginner choosing between Canon Rebel T3i and Nikon D3200. From most of the reviews I read Nikon has much better specs and suppose to take better photos. However when I tried it out at store I found that Canon ends up taking photos with much more vivid color and looks better to me. (As a beginner)
So my question would be that does it mean that Canon has better image processing that makes the photo it takes look better? Does it mean in theory I can use a graphic processing software to make the Nikon pictures look even better then Canon one? Would that be hard or prove to be too much trouble for me as a beginner?

MacBook or Nikon/Cannon?
I am in a fix. Am unable to decide what should I put my hands on now - a Macbook air or a nice DSLR! I already have a windows but I thought of buying a macbook, considering the fact that I may start building ios apps some time soon. On the other hand, I am thinking of developing a hobby like photography. Don't really know anything about photography, except the usual photos that I click with my iPhone! Help me decide…

How to setup instant viewing for a DSLR?
I have a Nikon D3200 and I'd like to setup instant viewing so my photos will appear on an ipad or laptop during the photo shoot. I'd like to know how to do this with a wire attached to my computer and wirelessly if possible.
