Is color depth in DSLR cameras are a big deal?

Is color depth in DSLR cameras a big deal? I just bought my canon 500D. And i notice that its color depth is only 21.7. I just recently notice it after i look into the reviews. Its my fault not looking on the reviews much early, you cant blame me cuz i dont know much about SLR's or any website about it.T_T.now, sometimes i cant help to feel bothered about the color depth thing because when i look on reviews on other SLR cameras.(based on the website snapsort.com). They have much more color depth than mine regardless that some of them already old models. For example the canon 450D (color depth of 21.9), the canon 1000D (color depth 22), the nikon D3000 (color depth 22.3), the nikon D5000 (color depth 22.7) and the latest nikon D3100 which was released recently and is much cheaper with the color depth of 22.5).

does this really affect the overall quality of the picture? Is color depth a big deal on it? Thanks in advance. :)
Added (1). Does my camera has an OK color depth with 21.7? Or is it below average and poor? Im sorry if im asking silly questions. Im still an amateur when it comes to photography and cameras. :(
Added (2). Sometimes i cant help to notice the difference with my shots (canon 500D) and my friend shots (nikon d3100). I find his shots much more colorful and sharp. :(

Nikon D3200 not firing SB-400 external flash?

Hi,

I have recently bought a SB-400 for my Nikon D3200. I have tried different settings in which the internal flash will trigger but in the same setting the external flash doesn't trigger.

What could be wrong with the setting?

What exact settings do you have on your DSLR when shooting long exposure shots of stars?

So, I just recently got a Nikon D7100 and I'm trying to learn how to get better shots of the stars. Last night it was a clear night with a full moon and I went out in an open field to take pictures. The first couple of shots I set my camera to 1600 ISO with an aperture of 3.5. I set the shutter speed the highest it could (30 seconds), but the picture didn't turn out all that great. It was pretty black but you could see the stars and a tree in the foreground a little bit.
BUT then, I decided to try out the Bulb mode. I had the same settings except I only pressed it down for 10 seconds and the picture was significantly brighter than when I had it set to 30 seconds. It was so bright it almost looked unreal. What happened there? Is there a difference between bulb mode and doing it the normal way? Or did I accidentally change something in my camera menu between them? I'm just really confused and very new at this haha. Sorry this was so long. Would love if you had an answer! Thank you!

How to recover files from a corrupted SD card?

I recently took a bunch of pictures on my Nikon camera and the most recent files were damaged and wouldn't open, so I downloaded a program that was referred to by a website where somebody had the same problem, but it has copied the files of the photos that I already had but smaller and awful focus and only some of them are now left on my SD card and I have loads missing, what should I do?

My Nikon 5700 will only work if it's on the charger?

It still turns on when not charging, but the battery symbol will flash and it will shut down after 30 seconds or so. I don't even have time to take a picture! But it works perfectly fine if it's on the charger.

I've left it on the charger over night and also tried to charge just the battery over night. The battery doesn't seem to hold any charge.
