What are the best settings for my DSLR when taking photos at a concert?

Hello, my first ever question. I have recently gotten a nikon D3000 and am using it mostly to take pictures at concerts and shows. Almost all the venues are indoors, dark, with stage lighting out to the crowd. Right now I just use it on the no flash/auto setting because it does some work for you, but I know I can get better photos if i manually adjust the settings.My question is what settings should I set to take good quality pics with my DSLR? I can't use a flash and want to get the highest quality finished product. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Advice on a new photography camera?

I'm looking for a new photography camera and i don't know what to get. I have a Fujifilm finepix s1800 camera but it doesn't cut it anymore. I'm starting more advanced wildlife photography and I need more zoom. I want something that has changeable lenses and great quality pictures. I was thinking maybe Nikon or Canon but im not sure what to get. Any suggestions on what to look for. I don't want to spend a ton of money but i do need something better. Please and Thank You for any suggestions

Nikon f3 shutter speed dial won't click?

I don't know if i forced it on accident but the shutter speed dial won't click when i turn it. And also if you put it on the B setting which normally holds it open as long as you are holding the button. (as you probably already know) it just takes a photo in a fraction of a second and i assume its a fast setting because i took a picture of an apple free falling and i havent developed it yet but i didn't miss any of it falling.

please help my photography teacher is not being to helpful and when i tried to show her she said i was just wasting film.
oh and i have a project due tomorrow and i need to finish this roll of film with some blurred shots

Does the t4i have selective color effect mode?

The Nikon D5100 has this mode, and I was wondering if the t4i has it also.
(Selective color effect mode is where you have one color appear, for example red, and anything else that is not red is gray)

What settings should I have my DSLR for very low light?

I have a Nikon D5100 with a nifty fifty… So, long story short, my friends want me to bring my camera to "document" us going to an abandon, haunted school. We drove to the start of the trail (we have to walk about a mile to get to it) in the day time, and there were no street lights and a bunch of trees would prob block the moonlight.So, I'm guessing I should get one of those lights camcorders use (my friends are also brining flashlights), the inexpensive ones since I'm only going up there once.SO, IF I GET A LIGHT FOR THIS VERY LOW LIGHT SETTING, WHAT SHOULD MY SHUTTER SPEED, APERTURE ISO AND ALL OF THAT GOOD STUFF BE? Thinking about selling my Nikon D3000?

I have had my Nikon D3000 for almost 2 years, and I love it, but I would really like to upgrade to a DSLR camera that shoots video as well.

I own the D3000 body as well as a Tamron 18-200mm lens and a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens, and I was curious as to whether I should just sell the body or sell one/both of the lenses as well (My camera came with a kit lens, but it was a dud when we got it, so I've just used the Tamron and Nikkor since then)?

I'm also not sure what camera I should upgrade to. I was thinking about the D5100, but the D3100 is also an option. Any suggestions?
