Shutter Lag AF50mm on D100?

Old Nikkor AF-50mm mounted on D-100 with App Locked at F/22, in M mode even at high shutter speed of 350 n above, still the shutter lag is present making camera shake evident in pics. I am relatively new to photography. I dont have this problem on the G or DX lenses.

Which is better Canon, Sony, or Nikon?

Lens to get for a nikon d800?

So I just upgraded from a d7000 to a d800, got rid of my dx lenses and only have 2 left. A nikon 50mm 1.8g and a tamron 28-75 2.8… I want a really nice sharp fast lens for the d800, was thinking of getting a nikon 24-70 2.8 but my tamron covers that range.

So how about getting a nikon 14-24 2.8 wide angle lens. And maybe some other lens in the future.

Would that be a good choice for a first high end lens?

I can't decide between Nikon D5100 and Canon EOS 60D?

I know that the 60D is kinda old and i was wondering if it's still worth it…

Nikkor 40mm micro vs 18-55 mm?

Hey guys,
I currently have the 18-55 nikkor lens and was rhinking of purchasing a 40 mm macro lens for macro pics, is it worth it considering I can still get close with my current lens?

What size adaptor rings do I need?

I have a Nikon D5100 and the lens I'm using currently us a Nikon DX 55-200 I bought a micro filterer which is a 52 mm and it didn't fit although the seller said it would. Anyhow I need to get an adapter ring although I'm confused on what size I should get it sense apparently 52 mm doesn't fit. Also on the back of lens it says ø52 so I thought that would be size so I'm lost and confused about lens sizes. D: What size should I get my adapter?!?

My Nikon D1x won't turn on, help?

My brother gave me his old Nikon D1x a while ago as a gift, but the camera refuses to turn on. I thought it was because of the battery, so I charged it but still nothing.Is there anything I could do? I'm a little tight on money so buying a new camera is out of the question, all I have is this and other smaller not-as-good cameras.

My parents think I'm a bad person?

Hi guys! I'm 17 years old and just about to start my senior year of high school. For the last couple of months I had a few problems with my parents. I'm working as a freelance web designer online and provide 75% of the cash for my family because my mom doesn't have a job and my dad has a company but is having some problems with it.My parents caught me smoking today(my mom caught me about a month ago and I told her I'd quit but didn't) and yesterday I came home buzzed from drinking a few beers. I'm not from the US. The people here are different, a lot of prople smoke tobacco and I only know a few friends that don't. The same is with alcohol. They really think I'm a bad person because I do the stuff that is actually really normal to my friends parents (staying late night out is ok for other parents but I can stay out only till 10AM). I know that those things are bad but you can't find friends if you're not like that. I don't have friends to talk about web design or photography (I shoot a few shots with my, self earned, nikon from time to time) because this is a really small town in Bosnia. Last night they spent 3 hours talking to me about drinking and I only come home buzzed (not drunk) once or twice in a year. I havea feeling that they don't respect that I'm actually the one that brings in the money each week! They are making everything I do sound serious and my mom often reads my messages on faceboook when I leave my computer on. Any suggestions?
Added (1). P.S. I'm a student that has almost all subjects passed with an A!

Please recommend DSLR camera?

This will be my first dSLR so i don't know which to choose. I found Nikon D5200 with 18-55mm lens, and i would buy 35mm 1.8G lens.Is it good or???
