How to use Photoshop CS6?

I am starting a Sci-fi web series and I want to get all the photography done soon but I want to do it myself. I have a Nikon D50 and I want to edit the photos with Adobe Photoshop CS6 but I don't know how to use Photoshop yet. I want to know how to get the sepia tones and darkening around the edges like in this photo… - - Any ideas?
