I have a Kodak easy share c1450 point and shoot. It takes decent pictures, and I won't be able to upgrade to the Nikon d3100 at least until late August. Its pictures always seem to turn out grainy (it is 14 megapixels). I want to get the best use I can out of it because I'll be stuck with it for a little longer. How can I take better pictures with it?
Note: I can change ISO. I don't know what long time exposure is? It is an option on it.
