I recently purchased the Pixel Oppilas Wireless Remote Control for Nikon and it obviously connects. The remote will autofocus the camera with a half press, but will not actually take a shot when I press it all the way down.Is this a setting I have on my camera, or is it a defective remote? Has this happened to anyone else?
Added (1). I've tried covering the viewfinder, and it's not making a difference. The camera is definitely autofocusing completely.It acts like it wants to take the photo and it sounds like the shutter moves a little, but the photo doesn't actually take. Any idea what that could be?
