Tips for tennis photography with Nikon D3100?

I am going to a tennis event tomorrow (Nov. 4), and I need some tips for taking great pictures. I am a tennis player and I play and train everyday for 4-5 hours, so I do understand the game completely. But I am still a beginner with my Nikon D3100 and don't completely understand the settings I can put it in to take great photos of tennis! Also, the tennis court will be indoors, if that changes anything? Please help!

Cheap Nikon dslr camera?

I want a Nikon dslr camera under 300 dollars that takes clear pictures. I haven't been able to find one. If you know about any please answer.
Oh and also I would like the camera to have a flash and record videos.

So this summer I plan to take up longboarding and buy a camera to start photographing landscapes, along with a bit of action photography. I have a decent eye, so I'm willing to pay a good amount of money for a camera. I'm thinking about a Nikon D600, if you think there is a better choice for what I'd like to do, go ahead and let me know. For longboarding I was wondering if anyone could recommend good brands. I would love to start doing downhill.

Free NEF file conversion on a Mac?

I have a Nikon DSLR and I've been told shooting in RAW is the best. This saves the photos as a NEF file type, and Photoshop (CS4) doesn't seem to want to open it for editing.Is this something I can change in PS, or is there a free method of converting the pictures so I can edit them in Photoshop?

AND, if I do convert them prior to editing in Photoshop, is it still going to have the benefits of shooting in RAW, or should I just save the time and keep shooting in JPG?

I primarily want to experiment with HDR photos, and I use Photomatix to fuse them together - and this does open NEFs. But for single images I want to be able to use Photoshop.

A good camera for photography?

Recently, I have fell in love with photography. I am only 13 year old, and don't need the whole shabang with the extra lenses and stuff. I travel a lot, so I need something pretty portable, and I can carry for long distances. Also, I don't want one for just photography, but also as just a camera that me and my friends pose in front of. This is why I am debating between DSLR (SLR, idk the difference) or Compact System. I know that on a photography note, SLR would be better, but it also has to be practical. I am going with a friend to Costa Rice over Spring break, and I am not feeling up to lugging something gigantic miles around a rainforest. Now, as far as advancing in photography, I want to improve.

I was looking at the Nikon J1, but I have no clue if that would be good for what I am looking for.

Things I need-
- Portable
- Has somewhat good zoom (to get up close, very important)
- Under 500 dollars
- I take nature/outdoor shots the most.

Can somebody help me find a perfect camera? I would preferably stick to major name brands (ie, Nikon, Sony, Canon)

Oh, and if you are gonna use camera lingo, can you explain why that is good/bad?

There has been some confusion with whether or not I would be allowed to bring my DSLR Nikon camera to the Justin Bieber concert on November 5th. I was just wondering if I could or if they do not allow those kinds of cameras at his concerts.

My Adobe photoshop 7.0 won't open high quality images?

Hi, I bought a Nikon 5100 camera recently and I have adobe photoshop 7.0 because i had the disk for it and i didnt want to buy the new ones. Photoshop can open up images just fine but when i try to open up the images from this nikon camera just a blank screen opens up but with no image on it. If anyone knows whats wrong and how i can fix it please answer.and btw i dont have any plugins or anything im sort of a begginer with photoshop i used another program before it.thank you.

What camera bag do you reccomend?

To give some details about me/my camera, it is a Nikon D5100. I had another nikon dslr, however last month i decided to upgrade since i've been in love with this one since fall. The camera bag i have is one that came with my older camera.It is by fotima and looks a little like this except has a pocket in front and two clips to close the top

Its okay and it fits my camera and lense and all the cords and body/lens caps but its really ugly.i know its mostly about being functional but I still am a girl and this ugly grey color is quote unappealing to me.
I only have one lens at the moment. 18-55.i want a lens with more zoom(maybe a 55-300) however i've hit a financial speed bump so it may be a while which means i'm not too concerned about it fitting in the bag just yet. I often bring it on walks/hikes. I am only an amateur-intermediate so i don't need anything too great, but i don't really know what the good brands are for this stuff.

What is the difference between SMALL format SLR camera and Medium format SLR camera?

Please explain me as simply as possible,
I am reading in the book (have to do an assignment) but I can't understand the point. There's written in most of small format SLR cameras the shutter is in the focal plane inside the camera body.
I have Nikon D70, is it small or medium format camera? because the shutter is in my nikkor lense, not in camera body
