Planning to buy a beginner digital SLR?

Guys can u help me … im planning to buy one dslr can any one help me plz… nikon d3200 or d5200, in nikon d5200 tilt and turn screen is there im afraid that it may give some problem in future… plz help me im in confusion state…

Is Hahnel Triad 30 Lite a good tripod for a beginner or armature photographer?

My brothers birthday is due on the 2nd January and i found it on amazon and it seems like a good tripod from the reviews,

Nikon d3200 camera battery problem?

I have a brand new nikon d3200

I charged the battery for 1hour 30 like it said in the manual

after around 70 (if that) shots without flash 50% through viewfinder 50% through live view
the camera battery is dead? I fully charged it again yesterday morning took around 50 shots today through the viewfinder turning it off each time and now again the battery sign is flashing low?

I originally had a sony a500 dslr and the battery would last for a LOT longer I know this is a better camera but at this rate I'll need to carry quite a few spare batteries with me

does this sound like a faulty battery or is this sadly normal for the nikon d3200 ?

Why is the shutter speed for sports mode really slow on my nikon d5100?

My camera used to take really good pictures on action mode, but now the are all blurry. Any help?

What is the proper setup for hooking up mics and instruments to a camera?

I'm new to music tech, so pardon my excessive lack of terminology and "theory". But I believe I have a basic idea of how it may work. What I'm trying to do is plug audio recording devices to my camera(Nikon d5100) for helping a friend record her covers, for she is an aspiring musician. Now the jack on my camera is a standard 3.5mm female.So I need a microphone with a 3.5mm male.
Also, could I hook up a mic and an instrument into a double 3.5mm female hub with a single male(does that make sense?). Would that record correctly?
Mic into Hub
Hub into Camera
Instrument into Hub

Now my friend says her mic can plug into her guitar(an acoustic/electric). She doesn't know if it'll channel her mic to the amplifier.Is that how that works?
Mic into Guitar into 3.5mm jack converter into Camera?
Again I'll remind you I don't know all the correct terms. Please correct any theory. Any assistance you could give me would be most helpful. Thanks!

My New Year's party idea?

Okay so I am a teen and I am having the New Year's party at my house this year and I wanted to know what you guys think of my ideas.So first I was thinking about having a photo booth type thing set up with my Nikon and then by that I would have props like hats and mustaches and stuff.To add to the picture taking part I will have little Kodak disposable camera's lying around so people can take pics and afterwords I will print them and give everyone a pic in a mason jar. I have a great long room for a dancing area so I was thinking about hanging whit xmas light from the ceiling and then having mason jars with tea candles in that area.At midnight we will have sparklers and then set off big sky lanterns. What do you guys think so far? I have food and stuff already planned :) Let me know if you guys have any other ideas!

All purpose Nikon lens? - 1

I need a multi-purpose lens. Excluding zooming, I will simply use it for outdoor, indoor, portrait shots. Shooting macro photos is very important. Would I be able to do everything the 35mm lens can do with the macro 40mm lens?

I just got a DSLR for Christmas. Also, i got $75 in amazon gift cards. I was thinking I could buy a lens for my camera? My budget is around $100. What type of lens should I buy that is also good for beginners? I use a Nikon D5100. Thank you :)
