Is it reliable to buy a manufactured refurbished camera?

There's a nikon 5100 on ebay in a REALLY GOOD PRICE and it's manufactured refurbished… what does this term means? is it reliable to buy it?

Little problem with my Nikon D3100?

The little flap that covers the USB port doesnt close anymore. If you click the link above you can see it. If I try to jam it in there it just pops back out. I heard that rubber expands in heat so I was wondering if that was the problem. Has anyone had this problem or does anyone know how to fix it? I thought about cutting it a little but I want to sell this camera when I upgrade.

Nikon d3000 not auto focusing help!

Hi guys so a couple of days ago a friend borrowed my camera that i have only had for about a year and dropped it.the problem is that now it doesnt auto focus when you go to take the picture the lens keeps going in and out of focus and just wont take at all unless i press the key lock button but even then the photos are out of focus and i am unsure what to do as i do not have a lot of money to buy a new one or go to a specialist shop and im in my final year of a level photography so i need to fix it asap. If you guys know how to fix this or have any suggestions it would be much appreciated thankyou! :)

How to disable my Nikon microphone while using an external (Azden) Microphone?

I wanted to start a youtube channel so I invested in a Nikon D3200 with an external Microphone (Azden ) after recording a few shoots I noticed that there is this really loud and disturbing scrunchy background sound coming from the recording of my Camera's Microphone.

tl;dr: I'd like to disable my Camera's microphone while my external microphone is plugged and recording, how can I do that?

Added (1). I thought Azden had great ratings hence why I bought it! It was really expensive too :(

Yes me and my friend thought it was from the Azden mic at first and tried to fix it but after days of work we finally found out that the problem was the Camera itself that records some weird background noise (it sounds like the wind is blowing on the camera)

A new lens for my Nikon camera?

What kind of camera should i use for photography business?

Right now I have a nikon d3000, and i have alot of different types of lenses for it.i'm kind of a lens hoarder i bought a bunch of different kinds, but what i need to know exactly is what type of camera should i use? i know mine isn't top notch and if anyone thinks i could make it work (to start out) then which lenses would i need? i'm interested in doing all different types including wedding, engagement, portraits, children, newborns, and even pets.

I don't know what each lens is called that I have so if you can leave a answer with the lenses that I would need I can look in my awkwardly big bag and see what I have… lol (:
