Buttons faster than touch screen?

i recently upgraded from a touch screen Sony nex to a Nikon D7100 with buttons and i actually can adjust settings FASTER with the buttons than i could with the touch screen

anyone else experience this?

i also think it is the layout of the camera which overall is superb

Bad quality pics on instagram?

So whenever I take photos on my Nikon the pictures are really full of detail and you can see the HAIR on someone's arm but when I post the pictures onto instagram they become really bad quality? I post them onto tumblr from my computer and then save them when I go to tumblr on my IPad.

However everyone else's pictures are full of detail and they don't seem to have the problems I do? Help?

Is the nikon d5300 the best multipurpose camera for filming and photography?

I am a student and my budget is around £500. I was going to buy the nikon d5300, but I don't know how practical it will be for filming (my current projects are to film a music video and a short film)
If you own this camera, or it's predecessor, could you tell me:
Does it take a long time to load and save files?
Will storage be a problem if I am taking lots of shots in one day?
Is the camera good in low light?
Would you recommend this camera?

And if not, please could you tell me which you think is best for me.
I can push budget slightly:)

Super wide angle lens for my camera?

Hi,

I'm a newbie photographer.

I've been using the Nikon D800 for making short films, but recently I felt that I didn't have a wide enough lens. So, I'm now hunting for a super wide angle lens that will hopefully fit my budget.

I definitely do not want to spend too much on a single lens for a very subtle or almost unnoticeable advantage. The less expensive, the better.

How to get my Nikon DSLR to focus in low-light settings?

So, I can NEVER take pictures when it comes to restaurants, bars, outside carnivals, etc.

Tomorrow I have a lunch thing and we wanted some good pictures and I really want my camera to focus. Currently it will just produce blurred pictures in low-light settings.

I am in manual mode, have set my ISO to 1600, set it to white balance and shutter speed to 1/2 a second. The pictures come out bright in the low-light setting I made for myself but still won't focus on the object.

Which is better for creative photography?

I am buying a new DSLR camera soon and am torn.
I have looked at plenty of reviews of the Canon EOS Rebel T3 and of the Nikon D3100.
I am more into creative and conceptual photography than professional (like wedding photos)
I have heard better things about the Nikon, but they seem to mainly be focused on the pros for people who are more interested in more pro. Photography.

These are the types of photos I would like to learn to take (and yes, I know they are higher models and that photoshop/lightroom are used.)

My Nikon COPLEX won't turn on after charge inch it for 2 hours?

I got my nikon camera 2 years ago for Christmas. It worked for a long time and then I lost the charger. Recently I found my charger and I went to charge it. I plugged it into the wall and the camera. The little green flashing light came on that shows that it's charging. It would flash for about 30 seconds and then the light would turn off. Then I tried turning it on and it didn't do anything! I was wondering if I need to get a new battery pack? It doesn't take batteries like AA or AAA it has a little rectangle battery pack. What's wrong with my camera?! Please help!

New tel numbers in Egypt?

I need to call to Nikon dealer in Cairo, Egypt. The tel listed on the Nikon website seams missing a digit. It could be a result of a resent change in the tel system in Egypt. Does anyone know the correct tel? The one I found: +20-2-7762062
