Nikon FX lens on DX body?

i have a DX, crop sensor camera. (d 3200)

I want to buy a 50mm FX lens for my DX camera.

my question is

What is the DX lens mm equivalent to an FX lens on a DX body

for example, what mm would i have to put my DX lens on to replicate what a 50mm FX lens would look like on a DX body.

please don't tell me that a 35mm DX is equivalent to a 50mm FX. I do not own a FX camera and do not know what it looks like.

if i were to put a 50mm FX lens on a DX body it would be the equivalent to a ____mm DX lens on that same DX body. Please fill in the blank, i cannot find this answer anywhere.

How will I know which aperture value to choose?

I am using a Nikon FM10 and a Lumix DMC-GF2, and for both, while changing the aperture values, I don't see a change in the DoF when looking through the viewfinder.

Is the only to get the right shot is too try out different values and look at the developed pictures?

Where can I rent a high quality camera?

I just want a camera to take some pictures for a few hours so I would need it for less than a day. I want to use one of those like $600 cannon or nikons. Any idea where I could rent one or something?

I want a camera that can take sport pictures like this one?

As you can see in the picture of Jeter batting to what becomes a game winning single against the Orioles yesterday, the ball is clear. I have a Nikon J1 which takes really nice action pictures like this, except the ball would not look so perfect like that. That ball would be super blurry, or it would look like a white line since it's moving to fast. Any suggestions on a camera that can help me take such a beautiful picture as this one? Please and thank you!I want a camera that can take sport pictures like this one

Nikon Sports Photography help?!

I am currently using a Nikon D60 for basic outdoor sports photography i've had it forever but it gets the job done well enough, my question is will a Nikon D3200 (the camera I'm looking to purchase) produce significantly higher quality pictures or will it be about the same? Is it worth the upgrade in that aspect?

Should I upgrade my Nikon to a newer model?

I am on my second year of doing portrait photography and I am in need of either updated gear or additions to what I currently have. My camera body is a Nikon D100. I have a 18-55mm, 55-200mm, and a 50mm f1.8 in my bag as well as a sb-50dx speedlight. As you know my camera body is an older model with only 6mp. I don't really have any problems with it, but I have noticed in RAW, after taking 2 quick snaps there is a shutter lag on the 3rd (I hope that makes sense.) I am debating on investing in the nikon d800 or adding to my gear. I feel I am not getting the sharpness I would like to achieve. In your experienced opinion, would the switch be worth the money? Would I see enough improvement in my photography? Do you have another suggestion on a different upgrade that isnt so costly, but gives better resu
