Two years ago, I splurged on a Nikon D5200… And then a whole new world opened up to me. I swapped up for a Nikon D7100, and I've been loving it (I know the D5200 and the D7100 have the same sensor… But dang are they different to use).
I own two lenses: a 35mm prime and a 11-16mm superwide. I've achieved great results with both.
But I noticed that I do a lot of indoor or dark photography. It's rare that I'm outside in full sunlight. Compared to full-frame shots, I'm noticing my photos suffering from needing to be at high ISO and low shutter speeds on my crop-sensor.
I'd love a full-frame camera, but I don't have $4000 to spend. On the other hand, $2000 for a full-frame mirrorless with what looks like a decent kit lens sounds very attractive, especially with the phenomenal results I've been seeing with the new A7 Mark II.
And I've also started dabbling in video, and I'm told Nikon (insofar as my D7100 is concerned) is inferior.
My reservation, obviously, is switching to a whole new platform. In addition, my eyesight has somewhat deteriorated and I find viewfinders difficult to use. I rarely produce sharp pictures using viewfinder and manual focus. If I have to use manual focus, I always use live view.
Any thoughts on the matter would be great!

What's better a Nikon camera or a Canon?
I'm very into photography:) I would like to take pictures that can zoom in with high definition I also like to model in my pictures along with friends. I want the camera to be able to focus on the image well and im very artistic (if that helps). I would also like the camera to have effects I can put on the pictures (filters maybe) although I'm good with photoshop so I can do that myself but it would be cool if it had that. Thanks!

How to fix my focus?
Okay so I just got a new camera, a Nikon D3100. When I press the shutter-release button half way down it won't focus. Does anyone have any clue how to fix this?

Camera can only take pictures sometimes?
I'm using a Nikon DSLR. I noticed that the Fxx/x thingy which i think is the aperture, becomes F --/- . There are usually digits after the F to show the amount of light but it becomes blank ( - ) sometimes and that is when my camera won't capture pictures. I can take many pictures at a time and the next second, I can't ( When the F becomes blank ) This happens at any light intensity.

Best lens for Wedding photography. Nikon D5000?
I have a nikon d5000. I know it's not the best camera, but what's a good lens to shoot in low light (Weddings)? Right now I just have the lens that came with the camera and it's kinda grainy. I just need something that works well in low light with minimal noise if ISO is cranked up. I have a speedlight but the photos still look grainy. I want Sharp, not grainy photos.

Nikon 18-200 mm or 70-300 lens for sports?
I am looking at upgrading my camera (I currently have a Nikon D50 and want to get a D7000). I currently have a Quantaray (I know it's cheap, but what we could afford) 70-300 lens, a Nikon 18-70mm and a Nikon 50mm fixed lens. I take a lot of pictures of my girls soccer games and just a variety of family pics or food pics for my blog. I'm looking at two different kits (this seems the best way to go for me). One has the Nikon 18-200 lens, and the other has a 70-300 and 18-105. I hate to lose 100mm if it makes a huge difference when shooting sports. I'm just not sure what is the best route for me to go.

Why won't my Nikon D3000 appear under devices on iPhoto?
When I plug my camera in iPhoto generally opens automatically and asks to import my pictures, however this time it isn't. I have restarted my computer, plugged my camera in fully, turned camera on and off, and fully charged my camera's battery. I've successfully imported pictures tons of times before and am very confused about why this is happening. I just got back from a trip and really want to upload my pictures. Please help! :)
