NIKON D5200 autofocus?

Okay so I have the Nikon D5200 which I use to record video. But when I use the AF-F setting the camera continues to "search" so a new focus causing my video to keep going in and out of focus every few seconds and making a loud lense noise which ruins the video. Is there a way I can have it autofocus but not as often? And a way to fix the loud sound? Would getting an external mic help?
Thank you!

Best Lenses for Nikon D7100?

Recently bought a Nikon D7100 and I am looking for an everyday lens. I am mainly looking for a couple of lenses, like a solid 0ne-two punch for the camera. I currently have the 18-105 lens from the kit and got a used lens from a family member (55-300). With the 55-300, I am limited to very far pictures and cannot get the full scene in the frame and I do not believe the 18-105 is going to cut it in the long run. I have heard the Tokina 11-16 is a nice wide angle lens as well as the Sigma 18-35 for an everyday. Are these two pretty good choices? Recommendations?

Thank you!

Best filters for Nikon 5300.18-140, 67mm filter?

hi,
i got a new dslr mentioned above,
what filter should i use. I don't want the image to be too dim by the using of polarized filters, tell me two filters to use in sun light which is polorised, and a normal filter for all time use, and it should be scratch and other resistant.
thank you,

Best SLR camera for beginners?

I'm hoping to spend less than $1000 on my camera. I don't want to be a professional photographer or anything, just have good quality photos to share with my friends, families, etc. I like taking pictures of the beach, skylines, street art, landscapes, etc. The lower the price, the better, but I want something that is worth it:) Also, I record videos. Which one would be the best for videos?

Canon Eos Rebel SL1
Sony Alpha A6000
Nikon D7000
Nikon D3300
Added (1). Thanks so much!

Canon T5 vs Nikon D3300?

Hi Im looking to buy a DSLR and its my first one so it doesnt have to be too professional. I want the Nikon D3300 or Canon T5. I did my research and found that the Nikon one had better reviews and was better than the Canon one. I want to use the DSLR for pictures and for filming youtube videos. Just simple videos where you sit and talk. Will the Nikon D3300 be better for vidoes and photos than the Canon T5? Thank you:)

Tips for switching to film?

I've been interested in photography for several years. I'm by no means a professional, but I know my way around a camera and I have a bit of experience. It's a hobby, but a fairly serious hobby. I have a few friends who are also photographers and some shoot film- they all started out on digital, in this modern day and age, but switched to film for various reasons. The most compelling one I have heard is that film forces you to really think about what you're shooting, because you have to pay for the film and pay for development and you can't just go and shoot several hundred shots in an afternoon. I have been thinking about joining (or at least trying out) the film world. I have a camera that was once my father's. I was just wondering if anybody had any tips for the technical aspects of switching. For example, I've heard about the sunny 16 rule (or something similar) where on a sunny day, at f/16, you can shoot ISO 100 film at 1/100s, or ISO 400 film at 1/400s, etc. I would mostly be using the film camera for landscapes and stick with my Nikon for sports.
If it helps, these are the cameras/lenses
Digital:
Nikon d7100
Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6
Nikkor 35mm f/1.8

Film:
Minolta SLR (not sure which model, as it's still shipping from across the country)
Minolta 55mm f/1.7
Minolta 28mm f/3.5
Saligor 300mm f/5.5

What lens would be good to replace my Nikon 18-55mm kit lens?

I am an amateur portrait photographer and am looking into replacing the 18-55mm kit lens. I have a 40mm f2.8 macro lens that I use for close up shots, but I am looking for a lens that can counterbalance what I use that lens for. I like the range of the 18-55 mm, but the lens is old and the focusing is a little off. What would be a good lens to replace this in quality and function? I am looking into the Nikon 18-105mm f3.5, the Nikon 18-140mm f3.5, or maybe the Sigma 17-70mm f2.8. I would love to find a lens that can still be used for close up shots but that I can also use for group shots or to get more of the scenery in the picture. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.
