Hey everyone,
Me and my brother both go to school. I am a business major and he is a film major. Our goal once we graduate college in a year or so is to open up shop and become directors. We want to start making independent short films so we are looking for some good equipment. Currently we have the following:
Nikon D3200
Go Pro Hero 3+
Photoshop
After Effects
Sony Vegas
We would like to know if this is a good starting set up? We also want to get a new camera, one that is pretty cheep ($1,000) price limit. I have looked online but a lot of it is outdated. We need a camera comparable with external mics such as boom and shotgun mics. What cameras and equipment do you recommend? Thanks.
