Lens Adapters for Nikon 1 J2?

I recently got a nikon 1 j2 and my mum gave me some lenses from her nikon, the lenses are really old and I was wandering whether there was some kind of adapter I could put on the camera and then attach the lens to.

Some additional information about the lenses:
One of them is called the "Zoom-Nikkor 35~80mm f/4~f/5.6D" (I think that's what it says on the box)
another is called "NIkkor 35mm 1:28 575243" ( that's what it says on the actual lens)
the last one is called "Nikkor 135mm 1:28 940758" (again that's what was on the lens)

Nikon HSS not working (D4 and SB 700)?

I have a Nikon D4 and have recently purchased a SB 700 (first flash). In the D4, I have chosen the Auto FP setting (flash settings Custom Menu e3). Any ideas?

Nikon D300 Slow Shutter Regardless of Shutter Speed?

Hi! I hope you can help me with troubleshooting this issue.

In an effort to better understand my camera (I know, I know, I'm buying a book soon but I need this problem solved ASAP) I started messing around when the Menu settings and now when I press down my shutter, it takes the picture VERY slowly. I only shoot in manual mode and no matter if the shutter speed is 60 or 8,000 - the shutter release is extremely slow. When I change the aperture and ISO settings or even my lens, it still has the same problem.

I have my camera on the Continuous Low setting but it still take pictures slowly. Changing it to Continuous High doesn't change anything either.

I'd like to troubleshoot further before I bring it into a camera shop because I'm almost positive this is an operator error. Any suggestions? Thank you so much!

I have a question. Im starting to shoot in manual mode and getting fairly good at still motion photography. I plan to buy a new lense but specifically for car photography. I love shooting cars especially my own.

However, I am confused to why I cannot get a very soft background (like a portrait almost). Nothing too wild… But here is a PERFECT example:

I know that I have an entry level camera, and need some lenses to create this shot. But what is the best lense/technique/advice to get to make a car in focus sharply with a blurred background?

Digital camera at T in the Park?

I'm a bit of a photo fanatic and really keen to take some decent photos at T, I have my iphone but it is currently full to the brim of photos. There is no memory left at all! I could take them all off but that would take an age. I could take old film cameras - which would be great but they don't take many photos and are expensive to buy and develop! I have a Nikon V1. My camera is like my baby! I'm only going days. A lot has been on the internet about stuff getting stolen being the biggest reason not to take it - I may not be the sharpest but I think I'd notice if someone tried to steal the thing hanging around my neck for the entire day… Is there any other chance of it getting damaged? Does anyone take their digital cameras and have experience? Reckon it'd be a good or bad plan?

Good Photography software for macs?

I was looking for a good software for my macbook to edit photos on, since I have more experience in the darkroom than digital stuff I was wondering what a good software to edit pictures on would be

Needs to be able to:

Do the basics (enhance, crop etc.)

Add watermark

Put together panorama/collage shots.

Open to all suggestions but not looking to spend a ton of money as I just upgraded to a new camera.

Recommended camera to buy?

Hello, I am a amateur photographer and I want to buy a camera so I can take photos of local scenery, holidays, days out and things like that. I want to spend anywhere between £200 - £400. I went into a local camera shop and they recommended 3 different types of cameras, they said I should get ether a Nikon D3200 or a Nikon D3100 or a Canon 1100. What camera do you think I should buy? Is there any problems with any of these cameras? Is there any benefits with any of these cameras? Do you recommend any of these cameras? Or do you recommend a totally different camera? All answers will be helpful. Thanks.
