I have a Nikon D3100 and, due to the costs, only have the kit lens it came with. I'm looking to get a macro and wide angle lens at some point but I want to make sure it's compatible and not crappy. I'm not by any means a professional, it's just a hobby so excuse me if I sound uneducated about this.
Are these lenses like a 'click-on' type of thing or are there actual lenses that I attach directly to the camera body? Also, is there a special standard lens I should get for the macro/wide angle lens attachments?
