I had a Nikon camera from 2008 to 2012 and it was really good but sometimes photos came out too dark and other times the colour of photos came out too pale. What software can you recommend to help fix this? I'd prefer something that would automatically fix the photos. And I don't mind paying if it's very good (but I'm not up for paying subscriptions, I just want a once off payment).

Added (1). I can't believe how rude some people are. Honestly I took about 1, 000 photos with the camera and sometimes I didn't have time to take good photos. I only want to fix maybe 15 out of 1, 000 photos. The question was about a software programme not how to use a camera which I no longer use. I really can't believe how rude some people are.
