Hay so i have finally made my mind up after days of searching for a camera, i was going to get a bridge camera but for a extra few £ i could afford a DSLR camera, so what one would be best value? keep in mind that:
+ i want one which does not take normal batteries (AA,AAA batts) as i have heard that alot of cameras in general are herd on batteries.
+ That i will be using it at night time ( concerts etc)
+ and that i will be using it for family pictures ( so in other words, kids moving fast!!!)

Added (1). I forgot to mention, keep in mind i am very new to taking pictures.every camera i have ever got was crap to be honest! lol
